Student protection

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CTT collects, why we use it, and the choices available to students.

Effective September 16, 2026

1. Who we are

Construction Trade Tutors LLC ("CTT," "we," "us") provides online, AI-assisted and instructor-led trade exam preparation. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to Admin@constructiontradetutors.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: sign-in identifiers, email address and display name provided through the sign-in service.
  • Enrollment information: name, phone number, state, target license or classification, experience level, and optional employer or sponsor.
  • Authorized reporting information: an optional report-recipient email and your consent to send that person a readiness report.
  • Educational records: lesson progress, assessment answers and scores, study-plan status, class status, reports, and hands-on or OJT requests.
  • Payment records: transaction and payment status. Square processes card payments; CTT does not receive or store your full payment-card number through this website.
  • Technical records: basic security, session and diagnostic information provided by our authentication, hosting and payment services.

3. How we use information

We use information to review and manage enrollment, provide lessons and assessments, grade work, build study plans, support students, process payments, send an authorized report, operate the program, prevent misuse, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.

4. How information may be shared

We may share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers that support sign-in, website hosting, data storage, communications and payment processing; with a report recipient you authorize; or when required for legal, fraud-prevention or safety purposes. CTT does not sell or rent student personal information.

Payment activity is also subject to Square's Privacy Notice.

5. Retention and security

We retain records for as long as reasonably needed to deliver the program, maintain educational and payment records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices

You may ask to review or correct your information, withdraw future report-sharing consent, or request deletion by emailing us. We may need to retain completed educational, payment, security or legal records. Withdrawing report consent does not reverse a report already sent with your permission.

7. Younger students

The online service is not directed to children under 13. A student under 18 should enroll only with a parent or legal guardian's involvement and permission.

8. Third-party services and updates

Links to other websites are governed by their own policies. We may update this policy as the program changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version, and material changes will be posted here.
