The nationwide pretest system

Every state is different. Every pretest should know the difference.

CTT will maintain a dated source profile for each state, trade and classification before releasing its preparation program. Arizona C-11/CR-11 Electrical is the first build; other states follow only after verification.

Original preparation content only. CTT teaches from public exam outlines and approved references. It does not copy, collect or distribute protected examination questions.
  1. 01

    Verify the state

Map the licensing authority, classification, exam provider, published outline, allowed references, fees and retake rules.

  2. 02

    Teach the requirements

Deliver instructor-controlled online lessons with AI tutoring grounded only in the approved course sources.

  3. 03

    Grade the pretest

Use original practice questions to produce an overall score and a category-level readiness breakdown.

  4. 04

    Report or retake

Send the authorized client a performance report, review priorities and a focused retake plan when needed.

What the client receives

A score is useful. A clear next move is better.

Each completed pretest produces a readiness report that can be reviewed by the student, employer or sponsoring client—with the student's permission.

Privacy and accuracy matter. Reports go only to authorized recipients, and every state profile carries a source date for regular review.
  1. 01

    Overall readiness score

Performance level with the test date, state, trade and classification.

  2. 02

    Category breakdown

Strengths and gaps by published examination topic—not just right and wrong answers.

  3. 03

    Review and retake plan

Focused lessons and original practice work before the next CTT pretest attempt.

Straight answers

Arizona electrical exam-prep questions

What is included in the $149 Electrical Trade Pretest Study Group?

The Arizona C-11/CR-11 pilot includes a 50-question Form A diagnostic, graded category results, an instructor-reviewed study plan, online class preparation, AI-assisted review, one different 50-question Form B retake and a final progress report.

Who is the Arizona electrical pilot designed for?

It is designed for students and working tradespeople preparing for Arizona C-11 or CR-11 commercial electrical contractor testing who want a structured readiness check before scheduling the state examination.

How does AI-assisted electrical exam preparation work?

CTT instructors select and control the approved course sources. AI helps students review missed subject areas, practice code-book navigation and build a focused study plan; it does not replace instructor review.

Is the CTT certificate a state license?

No. It documents completion of CTT training. Only the applicable government authority can issue a contractor or trade license, and CTT does not guarantee exam passage.

Are these actual state exam questions?

No. CTT creates original practice questions aligned to published examination outlines and approved references. CTT does not copy or distribute protected examination questions.

Can my employer receive my score?

Yes, when the student authorizes the recipient. The report can include overall readiness, category performance and recommended review priorities.

Does online completion guarantee hands-on training or OJT?

No. Hands-on and OJT are separately scheduled opportunities with locations to be determined. CTT must review and accept each participant, and OJT is not guaranteed employment.

Will every state and trade be available at launch?

No. Arizona electrical launches first. Each additional state and trade opens only after CTT verifies the official requirements and teaching sources.
